Saimond Ip entered St. Paul’s College Primary School in 1971 and graduated in 1982. An entrepreneur and writer, Ip has worked at the management consultancy McKinsey & Co., co-founded the media dot-com company 36.com with fellow Pauline Ken Yeung, was CEO of OnePort, and so on.

Ip’s literary works include The Hong Kong Local Church 101. He has previously taught at the Alliance Bible Seminary. From 2010 to 2017, Ip was part of the government student finance joint committee, serving as its deputy chairman from 2011 to 2017.
